Unani system of medicine
Unani medicine is a system of alternative medicine among the seven Ayush systems that is believed to have originated in ancient Greece around thousands of years ago, but is now practiced primarily in India.
Sawa-Rig-pa (Amchi Medicine)
"Sowa-Rig-pa", commonly known as Amchi medicine, is the traditional medicine of many parts of the Himalayan region used mainly by the Tribal and bhot people.
ABOUT US
The Ministry of AYUSH was formed on the 9th of November 2014 with a vision of reviving the profound knowledge of our ancient systems of medicine and ensuring the optimal development and propagation of the AYUSH systems of healthcare.
Earlier, the Department of Indian System of Medicine and Homoeopathy (ISM&H) formed in 1995. AYUSH has a special place in Jharkhand because Jharkhand state is rich in medicinal plants which allows for a wide scope in research in AYUSH.
